Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo Technician to perform diagnostic cardiac/vascular ultrasound exams under physician supervision. This role is ideal for recent graduates or those new to the field, with on-site responsibilities at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO, a 30-hour per week schedule and on-call shifts.

The position emphasizes patient safety, accurate data collection, and collaboration with the clinical team.

Qualificações

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred from an accredited institution.

Responsabilidades

• Display technical competence for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff and patients.
• Educate patient and family on procedure before exam.
• Perform ultrasound exams per protocols with quality outcomes.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Document results and apply charge codes.
• Maintain equipment and supplies.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment and technique.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide education for caregivers and students as appropriate.
