Job summary

Intermountain Health in Lafayette, Colorado is seeking an Echo Tech to perform diagnostic cardiac/vascular exams under physician direction. This role targets recent graduates or those new to the field, with a part-time schedule (30 hours) and 10-hour days, including on-call shifts at Good Samaritan Hospital.

You will support the clinical team, mentor students, document results, coordinate exams, and participate in education and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers is required.

Responsibilities

• Competency demonstrated for performance protocols in the department.
• Prioritize and schedule exams for efficient workflow.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff, offices, caregivers and patients.
• Prepare for exams by identifying patients and educating them on procedures.
• Perform ultrasound exams per protocols in a timely manner.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort and achieve quality outcomes.
• Document exam results and required information accurately.
