Job summary

Intermountain Health in Lafayette, Colorado, seeks an Echo Technician to perform diagnostic cardiac/vascular ultrasound under physician supervision. This part-time role (30 hours) is geared toward recent graduates or newcomers, with 10-hour shifts and on-call duties at Good Samaritan Hospital.

You will coordinate exams, educate patients, document results, mentor students, and help ensure patient safety and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac/vascular ultrasound exams under physician supervision.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff and patients.
• Prepare for exams by identifying patients and educating them on procedures.
• Document results and ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
