Job summary

Intermountain Health in Lafayette, Colorado is seeking an Echo Tech recently graduated or new to the field to perform diagnostic cardiac/vascular ultrasound under physician supervision.

This part-time role (30 hours) includes on-call shifts, 10-hour days, and opportunities to mentor others while ensuring patient safety and accurate exam documentation.

You will coordinate with clinicians and patients, maintain equipment, and participate in educational opportunities to grow your skills.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule echocardiography exams.
• Coordinate exams with medical staff and patients.
• Prepare exam by patient identification and education.
• Perform ultrasound exams per protocols in a timely manner.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Document exam results and relevant information.
• Apply charge codes for exams and supplies.
• Maintain equipment, area, and stock.
