Job summary

ECS4Kids in Florida is seeking a part-time Substitute Teacher to provide a warm, nurturing environment where children can develop language, cognitive, social and emotional skills.

You will support the Primary Caregiver/Teacher in classrooms, implement developmentally appropriate activities, maintain records, and collaborate with families and staff to ensure safe, engaging learning experiences for children ages birth to 5.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; DCF 45-hour training preferred.
• Experience in a child care setting is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, nurturing, safe environment for children to develop key skills.
• Assist in implementing age-appropriate activities and curriculum.
• Maintain appropriate records and communicate with families and staff.
• Support the Primary Caregiver/Teacher in daily classroom operations.
