Qualifications

• Knowledge of child growth and development and developmentally appropriate practices for birth to 5 years.
• Ability to provide a supportive and caring environment for children.
• Ability to exercise classroom discipline and collaborate with families.

Responsibilities

• Act as Primary Caregiver/Teacher when regular teacher is absent.
• Familiarize with day’s planned activities and assist with curriculum.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and health protocols.
• Support families through effective communication and involvement.
• Follow program policies and recordkeeping for children’s portfolios.
