Job summary

ECS4Kids is seeking a Substitute Lead/Assistant Teacher to support daily operations in a Georgia early childhood center. You will join a team delivering developmentally appropriate activities and maintaining a safe, nurturing classroom environment for young learners.

Under supervision, you will collaborate with staff and families to promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth, and assist with meals, hygiene, and administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Provide nurturing interactions and developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• Follow Head Start standards and guidelines for early childhood education.
• Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Responsibilities

• Lead/Assistant Teacher when a regular classroom teacher is absent.
• Assist with planned activities and maintain a warm, safe environment.
• Support family communication and parent involvement.
• Maintain records and assist kitchen/cleaning duties as assigned.
