Job summary

Alpha Health Services seeks a part-time Direct Support Professional to work one-on-one with a participant in the home and community. The role involves following an ISP, transporting the participant, promoting independence, and documenting progress while building a caring relationship.

The participant requests a male DSP who can swim; same-gender care preferences may apply. Competitive hourly pay and mileage reimbursement are offered, with flexible ~16 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a DSP or in a direct care/caregiving role.
• Valid PA driver s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to pass PA ODP background checks and clearances.

Responsibilities

• Transport participant to activities, appointments, and outings.
• Provide personal care with dignity and respect.
• Support community participation and social inclusion.
• Monitor health, behavior, or condition and report changes.
