Job summary

Alpha Health Services is seeking a part-time DSP to provide one-on-one support to a participant in home and community settings in Pennsylvania. You will follow the ISP, assist with transportation, promote independence, and document progress to help the participant live a fuller life.

Qualifications

• Experience as DSP or in a direct care role is required.
• Ability to transport and accompany participants in the community.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport participant to activities, appointments, and outings.
• Provide personal care support with dignity and respect.
• Support community participation and social inclusion.
• Monitor health, behavior, or condition changes and report to supervisor.
• Document progress and changes in status accurately.
• Implement individualized care plans tailored to the participant’s needs.
• Assist with meal preparation and accommodate dietary needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with care team and family members.
• Complete required PA ODP training and certifications.
