Job summary

Alpha Health Services is a Pennsylvania ODP-certified provider offering community-based support for individuals with IDD and autism. The role is part-time, ~25 hours per week, providing one-on-one support in-home and in the community.

The position emphasizes meaningful, relationship-based care, following ISP plans, transportation, and progress documentation. A male DSP with one-on-one behavioral health experience is requested for this participant.

Qualifications

• DSP or direct care experience is required.
• Must pass PA ODP background checks and clearances.
• HIPAA familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport participant to community activities, appointments, and outings per ISP goals.
• Provide personal care support with dignity and respect.
• Encourage community participation and social inclusion.
• Monitor health, behavior, or condition and report changes to supervisor.
• Observe and document participant behavior, progress, and status changes.
• Implement individualized care plans tailored to needs.
• Assist with meal preparation, accommodating dietary needs.
