Alpha Health Services is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional to work one-on-one with a participant in home and community settings. You will follow the participant's ISP, provide transportation, promote independence, and document progress, building a trusted, caring relationship.

The role requires extensive behavioral health experience; a male DSP is preferred. Competitive pay is offered at $18–$23 per hour, with mileage reimbursement and flexible scheduling (approximately 15–25 hours

Qualifications

• Experience as DSP or direct care required.
• Male DSP preferred; case-matching details discussed during hiring.
• Valid PA driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to document progress and behavior; maintain confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Transport participant to activities, appointments, and outings.
• Provide personal care with dignity and respect.
• Support community participation and social inclusion.
• Monitor health, behavior, or condition and report changes to supervisor.
• Observe and document participant behavior, progress, and changes.
• Follow ISP and individualized care plans.
• Assist with meal preparation and accommodate dietary needs.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and participant confidentiality.
• Collaborate with care team and family members.
