Job summary

Alpha Health Services is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work one-on-one with a participant in the community and in-home settings under the ISP. You will transport, promote independence, document progress, and build a trusting, caring relationship.

Qualities include compassion, reliability, and strong communication. Must have a valid PA driver’s license, insurance, and access to a personal vehicle. Equal opportunity employer; schedules are flexible with ~20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience as a DSP or in a direct care role is required.
• Valid PA driver’s license, active auto insurance, and reliable vehicle are required.
• Ability to follow ISP and document progress with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Transport participant to activities, appointments, and outings per ISP goals.
• Provide personal care tasks with dignity and respect.
• Encourage community participation and social inclusion.
• Monitor health/behavior and report changes to supervisor.
• Document participant progress and changes in status.
• Implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Assist with meal preparation, observing dietary needs.
