Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required for employment.
• Acquire and maintain First Aid, CPR and CPI certifications; TB test annually.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle for 15 passengers or less.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and training to consumers in community residence.
• Implement training goals and collect data; counsel consumers as needed.
• Maintain accountability for consumers and ensure needs are met through daily activities.
• Administer medications following CHESCO Services guidelines.
• Complete DSP paperwork and reports; participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Transport consumers as needed and assist with daily chores and meals.
• Conduct monthly fire drills and disaster drills as required.
• Perform other duties as identified or assigned.
