Job summary

CHESCO Services in Columbia, SC seeks a part-time DSP-R on 1st shift every other weekend. You will provide direct care and training to residents in a community setting, implementing goals and collecting data, while counseling consumers as needed.

The role requires a High School Diploma, First Aid/CPR/CPI certifications, TB test, and a valid driver’s license to transport residents. Safety and documentation duties are included on every shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Acquire and maintain certification in First Aid, CPR, and CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention).
• Subject to annual TB test.
• Valid Driver's license from state of residence and ability to operate motor vehicle for 15 passengers or less.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and training to consumers in community residence following guidelines.
• Implement training goals and collect data.
• Counsels consumers as necessary.
• Maintain accountability for all consumers within the assigned setting.
