CHESCO Services in Columbia, SC is seeking a DSP-R for the 3rd shift, including every other weekend, to provide direct care and training to residents in our community residence. You will implement training goals, collect data, counsel residents, and participate in team planning.

The role requires a high school diploma, certifications in First Aid, CPR, and CPI, TB testing, and a valid driver's license to operate a 15-passenger vehicle.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Acquire and maintain First Aid, CPR, and CPI certifications.
• Subject to annual TB test.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to operate a 15-passenger or smaller vehicle.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains accountability for all consumers within the assigned setting and monitors actions.
• Implements training goals and supports personal hygiene, social adjustment, leisure, and activities.
• Reports unsafe or maladaptive behaviors and supports behavior management plans.
• Performs DSP paperwork including logs, schedules, inventory, progress notes, and documentation.
• Maintains unit cleanliness and coordinates house chores, cooking, and laundry.
• Participates in interdisciplinary meetings and assists with evaluations.
• Administers medications per CHESCO Services guidelines.
• Transports consumers as needed and participates in drills and safety procedures.
• Buys groceries and supplies; prepares food and maintains inventory.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
