Job summary

CHESCO Services is seeking a part-time DSP-R for 1st shift on an every-other-weekend schedule in Columbia, SC. Qualifications include a high school diploma and certifications in First Aid, CPR, and CPI, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Acquire and maintain certification in First Aid, CPR, and CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention).
• Subject to annual TB test. Valid driver’s license from state of residence and ability to operate a 15-passenger or smaller vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care and training to consumers in community residence with adherence to guidelines.
• Implements training goals and collects data; counsels consumers as needed.
• Maintains unit cleanliness, oversees chores, cooking and laundry; participates in interdisciplinary team meetings.
