Job summary

Sysco is hiring a Part-Time Diesel Fleet Technician I to support our fleet maintenance team. You will learn to perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs under the guidance of senior technicians.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and cost-conscious upkeep of tractors, trailers, and related equipment. Eligible candidates will train on-site in Pennsylvania, with an expected starting wage of $26.00 per hour plus overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Learn inspections and preventive maintenance under guidance to maximize safety and reliability.
• Assist in inspections including CVI/FAI on fleet vehicles per regulations.
• Perform maintenance and repairs under supervision to ensure uptime.
• Document work orders with details on cause and correction.
• Develop proficiency in Sysco computer programs and shop processes.
