Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an entry-level Fleet Technician Helper to support Fleet Technician II and III in preventive maintenance and repairs. The role emphasizes learning inspections, diagnostics, and safe handling of fleet vehicles to reduce downtime and improve reliability.

This full-time position offers a 3rd shift (6:00 PM – 2:00 AM, Sun–Thu), with Fridays and Saturdays off. Compensation starts at $27.00 per hour, with annual $400 tool allowance and standard medical, dental, and 401K

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and components.

Responsibilities

• Assist in inspections and preventive maintenance under guidance.
• Perform First Article Inspection (FAI/CVI) on fleet vehicles as assigned.
• Assist in diagnosing and repairing to manufacturer specifications.
• Document all work performed on work orders.
