Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions in Houston, TX is seeking a Part-Time Delivery Driver to load, deliver, and unload a 20-24' box truck, prioritizing safety and excellent customer service. The role requires a DOT Medical Card (CDL not required) and basic GPS use.

Schedule: 3 days per week up to 29.5 hours, with no weekends or overnight shifts; occasional overnight routes may be needed. We offer on-the-job training, a 401(k) with company match, and ESOP participation as part of our Associate-owned

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card.
• CDL is not required.
• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck is preferred but not required.
• Basic GPS navigation proficiency is required.
• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack and/or forklift.

Job Overview

• Loading, unloading, and driving a 20-24’ box truck.
• Safe and timely delivery to our customers with a high level of customer service.
• Following DOT rules and regulations.
• Conducting thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintaining a clean, professional image of self and vehicle.
• Assisting with branch warehouse support.

Schedule

3 days per week, up to 29.5 hours per week. Possibility of additional hours when filling in for other drivers. No weekends. No overnight shifts. This branch does require an overnight route, as needed.

Qualifications

• Understanding of how to use a GPS.

Pay and Benefits

• Starting rate $20.00/hour.
