Job summary

Jasper Engines and Transmissions is seeking a Delivery Driver for Union City, CA. You will load, unload, and drive a 20-24’ box truck to customers while upholding DOT rules and delivering excellent service. Daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections are required, along with maintaining a professional appearance and supporting branch warehouse tasks.

The role offers a steady schedule, with no weekends, and a starting rate of $25.50/hour, plus regular wage reviews and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain licensure/endorsement to drive a 20-24' box truck including a DOT Medical Card (CDL not required).
• Experience driving a 20-24' box truck is preferred but not required.
• Basic GPS navigation and ability to use a pallet jack or forklift for handling loads.
• Good communication, reliability, and safety-conscious mindset.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and drive a 20-24’ box truck to customer locations.
• Provide safe and timely delivery with high levels of customer service.
• Follow DOT rules and conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

Job Overview Duties Include:

• Loading, unloading, and driving a 20-24’ box truck.


• Safe and timely delivery to our customers with a high level of customer service.


• Following DOT rules and regulations.


• Conducting thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.


• Maintaining a clean, professional image of self and vehicle.


• Assisting with branch warehouse support.

Schedule:

• 4 days per week.


• Tuesdays off.


• 10-hour shifts and hours may vary.


• No weekends.


• This branch does require an overnight route, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to obtain the required licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card. (CDL is not required)


• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck (preferred but not required).


• Understanding of how to use a GPS.


• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack and/or forklift.

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting rate $25.50/hour.
