Jasper Engines & Transmissions in Columbia, SC is seeking a Part-Time Delivery Driver to join our nationwide team. You will load, drive a 20-24' box truck, deliver with a focus on safety and customer service, and help with branch warehouse tasks. DOT rules and daily inspections are part of the routine.

The role offers a starting rate of $20.00 per hour for up to 29.5 hours per week, with potential for additional hours. No overnights or weekends; some weeks may include extra shifts to cover peers.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card.
• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck is preferred but not required.
• Ability to use GPS for efficient routing.
• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using pallet jack and/or forklift.

Job Overview

Duties Include:

• Loading, unloading, and driving a 20-24' box truck.
• Safe and timely delivery to our customers with a high level of customer service.
• Following DOT rules and regulations.
• Conducting thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintaining a clean, professional image of self and vehicle.
• Assisting with branch warehouse support.

The ideal candidate must be a detail-oriented, energetic, and motivated person.

Schedule: 3 days per week, up to 29.5 hours per week. (Mon, Tues, Wed) Possibility of additional hours when filling in for other drivers. No weekends. No overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain the required licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card. (CDL is not required)
• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck (preferred but not required).
• Understanding of how to use a GPS.
• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack and/or forklift.

Pay and Benefits
