Job summary

Jasper Engines and Transmissions in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Part-Time Delivery Driver to load, drive a 20-24' box truck, and deliver parts with a high level of customer service. You will follow DOT rules, perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintain a clean, professional image of yourself and the vehicle.

This branch may require overnight routes occasionally and offers a starting pay of $20.25 per hour, on‑the‑job training, and the chance to grow with wage increases after

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain the required licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card.
• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck (preferred but not required).
• Understanding of how to use a GPS.
• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack and/or forklift.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and drive a 20-24' box truck.
• Deliver to customers safely and on time with excellent service.
• Follow DOT rules and conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Assist with branch warehouse tasks and maintain vehicle cleanliness.

Job Overview

• Loading, unloading, and driving a 20-24' box truck.
• Safe and timely delivery to our customers with a high level of customer service.
• Following DOT rules and regulations.
• Conducting thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintaining a clean, professional image of self and vehicle.
• Assisting with branch warehouse support.

Schedule

• 2-3 days per week, up to 29.5 hours per week.
• Possibility of additional hours when filling in for other drivers.
• No weekends.
• No overnight shifts.
• This branch does require an overnight route, as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain the required licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card. (CDL is not required)
• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck (preferred but not required).
• Understanding of how to use a GPS.
• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack and/or forklift.

Pay and Benefits

• Starting rate $20.25/hour.
