Job summary

Jasper Engines and Transmissions in Nashville, TN is hiring a Delivery Driver to join our nationwide network. You will load, transport, and deliver goods using a 20-24’ box truck with a focus on top-level customer service.

The shift pattern is 10 hours for four days a week, with no weekends or overnight work. CDL is not required; a DOT Medical Card is required. We offer substantial benefits, ESOP, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must obtain licensure/endorsement to drive a 20-24' box truck plus a DOT Medical Card.
• CDL is not required.
• Experience driving a 20-24' box truck preferred but not required.
• Ability to use a GPS and navigate routes.

Job Overview

Duties Include:

• Loading, unloading, and driving a 20-24’ box truck.
• Safe and timely delivery to our customers with a high level of customer service.
• Following DOT rules and regulations.
• Conducting thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintaining a clean, professional image of self and vehicle.
• Assisting with branch warehouse support.

The ideal candidate must be a detail-oriented, energetic, and motivated person.

Schedule: 4 days per week. 10-hour shifts and hours may vary. No weekends. No overnight shifts.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to obtain the required licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card. (CDL is not required)
• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck (preferred but not required).
• Understanding of how to use a GPS.
• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack and/or forklift.

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting rate $21.25/hour.
