Job summary

Jasper Engines and Transmissions in Indianapolis, IN is hiring a Delivery Driver to load, unload, and drive a 20-24' box truck, delivering to customers with a high level of service while following DOT rules. The role includes pre-trip/post-trip inspections and branch warehouse support.

Schedule is 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts with no weekends or overnight shifts. Starting pay is $21.50 per hour, with wage increases after reviews and a $2,000 sign-on bonus; full benefits, 401(k) with ESOP,

Qualifications

• Must obtain DOT Medical Card; CDL is not required.
• Experience driving a 20-24' box truck preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using pallet jack and/or forklift.
• Must be able to use a GPS for routing.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and drive a 20-24' box truck to deliver to customers.
• Adhere to DOT rules and perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain a clean, professional image of self and vehicle; assist warehouse as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and support branch operations.

Job Overview

Duties Include: Loading, unloading, and driving a 20-24’ box truck. Safe and timely delivery to our customers with a high level of customer service. Following DOT rules and regulations. Conducting thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Maintaining a clean, professional image of self and vehicle. Assisting with branch warehouse support. The ideal candidate must be a detail-oriented, energetic, and motivated person.

Qualifications

Must be able to obtain the required licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card. (CDL is not required) Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck (preferred but not required). Understanding of how to use a GPS. The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack and/or forklift.

Pay and Benefits

Starting rate $21.50/hour. Multiple performance reviews within your first two years, which include the ability to receive multiple wage increases. We are currently offering a $2,000 sign-on bonus.
