Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions in Auburn, MA is seeking a part-time Delivery Driver to load, unload, and operate a 20-24’ box truck for local deliveries with a focus on safety and customer service. Schedule: 2-3 days per week, up to 29.5 hours, with no weekends or overnight shifts.

The role includes performing pre-trip/post-trip inspections, adhering to DOT rules, and assisting branch warehouse activities. Starting pay is $23.00 per hour, with wage reviews and on-the-job training available.

Qualifications

• Must obtain licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck; CDL not required.
• DOT Medical Card required.
• Experience driving a 20-24' box truck preferred but not required.
• Ability to use GPS and to lift/move products with pallet jack or forklift.

Job Overview Duties Include: Loading, unloading, and driving a 20-24’ box truck. Safe and timely delivery to our customers with a high level of customer service. Following DOT rules and regulations. Conducting thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Maintaining a clean, professional image of self and vehicle. Assisting with branch warehouse support. The ideal candidate must be a detail-oriented, energetic, and motivated person. Schedule: 2-3 days per week, up to 29.5 hours per week. Possibility of additional hours when filling in for other drivers. No weekends. No overnight shifts.

Qualifications: Must be able to obtain the required licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card. (CDL is not required) Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck (preferred but not required). Understanding of how to use a GPS. The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack and/or forklift.

Pay and Benefits: Starting rate $23.00/hour. Multiple performance reviews within your first year, which include the ability to receive wage increases.
