Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for The Ridge Recovery Center in Willimantic, CT. You will provide direct nursing care and patient education within a multidisciplinary team focused on substance use recovery.

The role requires an Associate's degree in nursing, CT RN license, and 1 year of psychiatric or addiction care experience. CPR/AED within 6 months; CARN/PMH certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing is required, Bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience in psychiatric or substance abuse settings preferred.
• Valid CT RN license and CPR & AED certification within 6 months of hire.
• Addictions Nursing (CARN) or Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients' conditions and care needs.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Manage withdrawal symptoms and safety.
• Provide direct nursing care and health education for recovery.
• Collaborate with clinical and medical staff in daily care.
