Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for The Ridge Recovery Center in Willimantic, CT. You will provide direct nursing care and patient education within a multidisciplinary team focused on substance use recovery.

The role requires an Associate's degree in nursing, CT RN license, and 1 year of psychiatric or addiction care experience. CPR/AED within 6 months; CARN/PMH certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing is required, Bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience in psychiatric or substance abuse settings preferred.
• Valid CT RN license and CPR & AED certification within 6 months of hire.
• Addictions Nursing (CARN) or Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing certification preferred.

About This Role

The Registered Nurse at The Ridge Recovery Center will provide direct care to individuals with substance use disorders, working alongside a team of professionals to support clients in their recovery journey.

What You'll Do

• Assess client’s conditions.

• Collaborate with professional, clinical, and medical staff in daily care.

Requirements

Education:

• Associate's degree in nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in Psychiatric or Substance Abuse Treatment preferred.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Valid CT RN license.
• CPR & AED certified within six months of employment.
• Accredited certification in Addictions Nursing (CARN) or Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing preferred.
