Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative in Somerville, MA to be the face of our service team. You will assist customers with products and services, inspect and prepare equipment, and use U-Scan technology to dispatch and return rentals.

Schedule is 15-22 hours per week with evening and weekend availability preferred. Compensation ranges from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour, plus benefits such as health insurance, holidays, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect equipment and ensure it is clean and ready for rental.
• Educate customers about products and services and answer questions.
