Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a friendly, motivated Customer Service Representative in Malden, MA for 25 hours a week, including weekends. The role involves assisting customers with rentals, inspecting equipment, and using U-Scan tech to dispatch and return units.

Responsibilities include moving trucks, cleaning equipment, and educating customers on products. Certifications for propane filling and forklift operation are offered after employment.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect and maintain equipment on the lot, including fluids checks.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returns from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring; propane fill and forklift operation (certifications offered).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
