Job summary

Laundry Capital’s Laundromax location in Attleboro, MA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join the team. This part-time, in-person role supports customers at the counter, helps with laundry card usage, machine selection, and sells essential supplies while ensuring a clean, safe store environment.

You’ll work closely with the Store Manager to deliver friendly service, process transactions accurately, stock shelves, and assist with wash-and-fold orders.

Qualifications

• Standing for up to 8+ hours per shift.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Professional communication with customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with laundry card use, machine selection and operation, retail purchases, and wash-and-fold orders; address questions or concerns.
• Accurately operate the register or point-of-sale system.
• Maintain knowledge of products sold and their uses; encourage customers to purchase additional items.
• Keep retail items neatly stocked and inform management when inventory or janitorial supplies are low.
• Use log books to report building or equipment maintenance; inform a supervisor of unsafe situations.
• Adhere to all company policies, attendance and uniform standards.
• Follow safety practices to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Understand responsibilities during emergencies such as fires, floods, and severe weather.
• Maintain a safe environment inside and outside the store.
• Walk the floor to pick up debris, check restrooms, and perform other cleaning duties as needed.
