PORTFOLIO RESIDENT SERVICES INC is seeking a part-time Program Coordinator in Garland, TX, to support residents of affordable housing communities. This TEMP position involves coordinating CORES certified resident services, developing monthly activity calendars, and engaging residents through programs that build skills and healthy lifestyles.

The ideal candidate is organized, self-disciplined, and community‑minded, able to multi-task and work independently with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

Experience in education, social work, non-profit or related field.
Must be available to work 2 days per week; 9:00–14:00 (Mon–Fri).
Experience with residents in housing or community programs is a plus.
Must have home computer, access to email and light printing.

Responsibilities

Provide a welcoming atmosphere and serve as the initial point of contact at the community center.
Prepare reports based on the calendar, sign-in sheets, and monthly contracted program hours.
Design, post, and distribute monthly calendars and flyers on-site; door-to-door distribution.
Oversee program offerings; recruit volunteers, solicit donations, and work with partners.
Log communications with volunteers and donations; submit monthly log.
Communicate resident needs to staff to address them proactively.
Independently monitor and interact with residents of all ages.
Maintain sign-in sheets and keep supplies organized.
