Portfolio Resident Service is seeking a Program Coordinator for a part-time role serving residents in affordable housing communities. The position emphasizes delivering CORES certified resident services to build knowledge, healthy lifestyles, and economic empowerment.

The ideal candidate thrives independently, is organized, and has a heart for community engagement. Hours are 9am-2pm, two days per week, with occasional evening or weekend activity as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in education, social work, non-profit or related field preferred.
• Ability to work independently without supervision and multitask.
• Excellent organizational, computer and administrative skills.
• Strong written and oral communication abilities.
• Familiar with community resources and services.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and serve as first contact at the community center.
• Prepare monthly reports from calendars, sign-in sheets, and activity hours.
• Create and post monthly calendars and flyers; distribute on-site.
• Oversee activities, recruit volunteers, solicit donations and engage partners.
• Maintain logs of communications, donations and volunteer activity.
• Provide information on local resources to residents.
• Engage residents in planning activities and address needs proactively.
• Monitor and interact with residents of all ages as needed.
