Job summary

Action Health Staffing is seeking a dependable Certified Nursing Assistant in a part-time Staffing Coordinator role at our Greenville location. The position runs three days a week from 12 noon to 5pm with excellent pay and benefits.

The CNA will provide direct patient care in home care settings, follow the Plan of Care, and maintain patient confidentiality while reporting changes in condition and ensuring high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Maintain certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Possess effective communication skills to read, write and follow directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks necessary to treat clients who may include lifting, bending and standing.
• Sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Provide personal hygiene care.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care and prescribed exercises.
• Prepare meals with consideration of client preferences and special diets.
• Provide companionship and activities that vary with client needs.
• Light housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Participate as a team member to ensure high quality of health care.
• Maintain complete and accurate records required by agency.
• Record and report changes in client's condition.
• Complete EVV tasks per plan and time sheets.
• Demonstrate dependability by reporting as assigned.
• Adapt to client and family value systems.
• Assist in promoting client independence.
• Perform other duties per care plan.
• Notify supervisor with questions or concerns.
