Job summary

Action Health Staffing is seeking a dependable Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team as a part-time Staffing Coordinator in Greenville. The role offers 3 days per week, 12 noon to 5 pm, with excellent pay and benefits.

The CNA will provide direct patient care in home settings, assist with transfers, basic nursing tasks, meals, and limited housekeeping while maintaining proper documentation and adhering to the Plan of Care.

Qualifications

• Maintain certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write and follow directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending and standing.
• Empathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care and prescribed exercises as instructed by supervising clinicians.
• Prepare meals with consideration of client preferences and special diets.
• Provide companionship and activities based on client needs.
• Light housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Maintain complete and accurate records as required by agency.
• Record and report changes in client’s condition.
• Demonstrate dependability by punctual reporting.
• Follow Plan of Care and EVV documentation where applicable.
