Job summary

Action Health Staffing in Greenville, NC is seeking a dependable Certified Nursing Assistant for a part-time Staffing Coordinator role. Part-time hours are 3 days a week, 12:00 pm–5:00 pm, with excellent pay and benefits.

The CNA will provide direct patient care in patients' homes, assist with transfers and mobility, perform basic nursing tasks under supervision, and maintain accurate records. A high school diploma or GED is preferred; strong communication, reading/writing, and physical stamina

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Maintain DFS certification.
• Effective communication, reading and writing skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring.
• Sympathetic attitude toward care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care under supervision.
• Prepare meals respecting dietary needs when directed.
• Provide companionship and activities for patients.
• Light housekeeping as assigned.
• Maintain complete and accurate records required by agency and EVV system.
• Record and report changes in client condition promptly.
• Follow the Plan of Care and uphold patient privacy.
