Job summary

Action Health Staffing & Home Care Services is seeking a dependable Certified Nursing Assistant for a part-time Staffing Coordinator-like role in our Greenville location. The schedule is three days per week from 12n to 5pm, with excellent pay and benefits.

The CNA will provide direct patient care in home settings under supervision, performing personal care, transfers, basic nursing tasks, and documentation, while upholding patient privacy and the agency Plan of Care.

Qualifications

• Maintain certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Possess effective communication skills to read, write and follow directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending and standing.
• Sympathetic attitude toward care of the sick.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care and follow care plans under supervision.
• Prepare meals considering client preferences and special diets when directed.
• Provide companionship and activities tailored to client needs.
• Light housekeeping as assigned.
• Maintain complete and accurate records per agency procedures.
• Report changes in client’s condition promptly.
• Adhere to Plan of Care and EVV documentation where required.
