Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification or obtained within three months of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training within three months of hire.
• Ability to read, write and understand English; communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Must maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and caring aligned with Trinity Health values.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors; manage front desk responsibilities and patient flow.
• Check-in patients efficiently and ensure admitting processes meet policies.
• Answer phones and direct calls appropriately.
• Schedule appointments per office guidelines.
• Collect copays and deductibles at time of service; verify insurance information.
• Scan/copy patient materials into the electronic medical record.
