Job summary

The University of the Incarnate Word is seeking a UIW Community Clinic Office Assistant to support clinic operations, supervise staff, and assist students and patients.

This part-time role offers flexible days with primary hours on Tuesdays or Thursdays 12:15 pm–5:00 pm. Applicants must be current UIW School of Rehabilitation Sciences students and capable of lifting up to 20 lbs. Spanish language ability is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support services for UIW Community Clinic.
• Act as the UIW Community Clinic Floor Manager to perform opening and closing procedures for the clinic.
• Demonstrate effective communication with clinic administration, staff, supervising physical therapists, students, patients/clients, and external stakeholders, such as referral sources and community partner organizations.
• Perform opening and closing procedures for the clinic.
• Facilitate all aspects of clinic function.
• Maintain inventory of office supplies.
• Communicate with clinic administration, staff, supervising physical therapists, students, patients/clients, and external stakeholders, such as referral sources and community partner organizations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
