Job summary

The University Of The Incarnate Word is seeking an Employee and Student Wellness Coordinator (Graduate Assistant) to assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive wellness program. This role requires current UIW graduate students and involves coordination of wellness activities and events for both employees and students.

Applicants must demonstrate excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to plan and promote wellness initiatives. The position offers a salary of $13.00 per hour, with the potential for up to 25 hours a week.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand employee workplace health and promotions.
• One year experience in a wellness program, sports management, or special event planning.
• Must complete CPR and First Aid Certification within 3 months if expired.

Responsibilities

• Assist with events organized for UIW Employees and UIW Students.
• Coordinate programs meeting seven dimensions of wellness.
• Serve on departmental, university, and/or national committees.

Skills

Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products

Ability to plan, organize, schedule and promote wellness activities and programs

Excellent organizational and time-management skills
