Job summary

MCHAP seeks a Part-time Chaplain to serve employees and their families in the North Houston area. The role involves visiting worksites, offering spiritual care, and coordinating support during crises.

The chaplain provides confidential discussions, funerals support, and referrals while upholding Christian ministry values within the organization’s guidelines. Remote field engagement may occur at client sites and residences.

Responsibilities

• Make regular visits to company worksites to build relationships and provide chaplain services.
• Provide confidential pastoral discussions for personal issues and family concerns.
• Assist in planning or attending funerals and grief support for employees and families.
• Make on-site visits to hospitals, nursing homes, or family residences as needed.
• Provide referrals and coordinate with specialists for employee needs.
• Participate in orientation and be available for client requests within scope of agreements.
