Job summary

MCHAP is seeking a Part-time Chaplain for the West Houston area (Katy, TX). The role involves visiting worksites, providing spiritual care to employees and families, and coordinating support during crises. Bilingual Spanish preferred. Hours are 2–4 per week, with no guaranteed minimum hours. Remote field-based work environment described.

The Chaplain will interact with employees, attend funerals when needed, and provide confidential pastoral discussions and referrals as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Ability to document accurately according to standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a messenger of faith, mission, and purpose to employees and families.
• Make regular visits to worksites to build trust and relationships.
• Provide confidential pastoral discussions and coordinate referrals when needed.
• Assist in planning and attending funerals and grief support when required.
• Respond to death or serious injuries with compassion and support.
• Provide post-employment support and spiritual enrichment activities as appropriate.
