Marketplace Chaplains relies on frontline chaplains to serve company employees and their families with compassionate spiritual care. Chaplains visit worksites weekly, provide confidential pastoral discussions, crisis support, and referrals to specialized resources as needed.

The role emphasizes trust-building, discretion, and adherence to our Christian mission. Ideal candidates bring strong communication, empathy, and crisis-management skills to support employees’ personal and family challenges.

Qualifications

• Has ability to work as member of interdisciplinary group and in an interfaith setting.
• Skills to effectively listen and interact with clients, employees, and their families.
• Skills to deliver community presentations.
• Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with diplomacy, patience, and courtesy with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a messenger and conveyor of faith, mission, and purpose.
• Interacts with companies, their employees, and the community in a manner that exhibits character through personal and spiritual disciplines.
• Makes brief visits to company worksites regularly (usually weekly) to interact with employees to build a relationship of trust and friendship.
• Visits employees or immediate family members wherever care can be expressed and help given.
• May provide confidential pastoral discussions and coordinate referral for employees and families.
