Job summary

Marketplace Chaplains is seeking a part-time Chaplain to provide on-site spiritual care for employees and their families. The role involves regular visits to client worksites, offering confidential pastoral conversations, and support during life events, illnesses, and bereavement.

You will collaborate with site leadership to foster wellbeing and morale. Requires mature Christian faith, strong listening skills, and the ability to serve diverse staff in a respectful, confidential manner.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate spiritual maturity and Christian faith.
• Ability to work with diverse employees and families.
• Willingness to visit worksites regularly and provide pastoral care.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• Strong listening and counseling skills for a broad range of life issues.

Responsibilities

• Makes brief visits to company worksites regularly (usually weekly) to interact with employees and build trust.
• Provides confidential pastoral discussions for personal issues and family matters.
• May assist in funerals and grief support for employees and immediate family members.
• Represents churches and organizations when providing ministry services at client sites.
