Job summary

Marketplace Chaplains seeks caring Chaplains to serve employees and their families at client sites. Chaplains provide confidential pastoral conversations, crisis support, and spiritual guidance as part of the company’s ministry program.

Responsibilities include regular on-site visits, interaction with diverse employees, and coordination with client leadership. The role requires a Christian faith commitment, diplomacy, and strong communication skills to support wellbeing at work.

Qualifications

• Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary group in an interfaith setting.
• Strong listening and interpersonal skills with clients, employees and families.
• Ability to deliver community presentations and handle stressful situations.
• Spiritual maturity and commitment to a Christian lifestyle and ministry values.
• Diplomacy, patience and courtesy in interactions with diverse groups.
• Excellent oral and written communication and documentation skills.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
• Must have an active state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Makes regular visits to client worksites to build trust and relationships.
• Provides confidential pastoral discussions for employees and immediate family members.
• Assists in planning or attending funerals and providing post-termination care when needed.
• Represents the chaplaincy in interactions with clients and employees to support ministry services.
• Supports new employee orientation about Employee Care Service and Chaplain team.
