Job summary

Marketplace Chaplains seeks qualified Chaplains to serve employees and their families, providing spiritual support and confidential counsel at client sites. The role emphasizes compassion, discretion, and Christian ministry aligned with MCHAP values.

You will visit worksites regularly, offer pastoral care, coordinate referrals, and participate in employee orientation to explain the Employee Care Service. This field-based position requires strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to servant

Qualifications

• Ability to work in an interfaith setting.
• Ability to deliver community presentations.
• Strong listening and interpersonal interaction with clients and families.
• Demonstrates spiritual maturity and Christian values in daily activities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Google Suites or Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a messenger of faith, mission, and purpose.
• Interacts with employees and community with integrity and character.
• Makes regular site visits to build trust and relationships.
• Provides confidential pastoral discussions and makes referrals as needed.
• Assists in funerals and grief support for employees and families.
• Coordinates with leadership to support client companies.
