Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time CDL bus driver to provide safe transportation for public school students to and from the LifeWise site. The role requires a mature, punctual individual with a clean driving record and a commitment to the LifeWise faith.

You must hold a CDL with passenger endorsement (P); school bus endorsement is preferred. You will complete background checks and regular drug/alcohol testing, and you may participate in LifeWise classroom activities as agreed.

Qualifications

• CDL driver's license with a passenger vehicle endorsement (P) required.
• School bus endorsement (S) preferred.
• Age 21-80; annual CDL license and P endorsement submission if over 75.
• Background check and drug/alcohol testing required.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws.
• Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical safety of the bus.
• Perform regular inspections of the bus.
• Refuel the vehicle as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children; enforce safety rules; assist students.
