Qualifications

• CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement (P) required.
• School bus endorsement (S) preferred.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations within the last five years.
• Pass background check and LifeWise Academy process including MVR and FMCSA Clearinghouse checks.
• Annual drug and/or alcohol testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain the cleanliness and mechanical safety of the bus.
• Perform regular inspections of the bus and refuel as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children; enforce safety rules.
• Complete training required by LifeWise Academy and volunteer in the LifeWise classroom if agreed.
