Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a CDL bus driver in Ohio to transport students and volunteers to and from the LifeWise site. The role emphasizes safety, punctuality, and adherence to LifeWise beliefs and policies.

The position is part-time, non-exempt, and requires a clean driving record, a valid CDL with passenger endorsement, and annual background checks and drug tests. Prior church involvement is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in a local church with aligned doctrine
• Clean driving record in last five years
• Background check and drug/alcohol testing as required by LifeWise Academy
• CDL with endorsement for passenger vehicle (P) required; school bus (S) endorsement preferred

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and safety
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed
• Create and maintain a safe environment for students, enforcing safety rules
• Complete required LifeWise Academy training and participate in classroom activities as agreed
