Qualifications

• Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• CDL with endorsement for driving a passenger vehicle (P) required.
• School bus (S) endorsement preferred.
• CDL license held continuously for the past three years.
• Age 21–80; CDL license and endorsements may require annual updates for older drivers.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or citations in 5 years.
• Background check through LifeWise Academy.
• Drug/alcohol testing required (pre-employment, random, post-accident).
• Yearly physician's statement for known medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children; enforce safety rules.
• Assist students entering or exiting the vehicle; demonstrate calm, caring demeanor.
• Complete LifeWise Academy training; volunteer in LifeWise classroom if allowed.
