Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time CDL bus driver in Ohio to transport students and volunteers to and from the LifeWise site with safety and punctuality as priorities. A valid CDL with passenger endorsement is required, and adherence to LifeWise beliefs is essential.

Qualifications

• CDL driver with a clean driving record and a valid CDL license.
• Must have been continuously licensed for the past three years.
• CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement (P) required; school bus endorsement preferred.
• Age 21–80; annual submission of CDL license and P endorsement for drivers over 75.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children; enforce safety rules.
• Assist students with entering/exiting the bus and monitor behavior.
• Complete required LifeWise Academy training; may volunteer in LifeWise classroom.
